Bengaluru, 31 Jan 2018: Vatal Nagaraj of Kannada Okkuta on Wednesday said Bengaluru bandh will be observed on February 4 if the state BJP leaders fail to get an assurance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the Mahadayi issue will be resolved.

Speaking to reporters, Nagaraj said that if the BJP leaders fail to give the assurance by February 3, then the bandh will be observed the next day, when Modi is scheduled to visit to Bengaluru.

The Prime Minister is participating in the valedictory of the BJP’s Navakarnataka Parivartana Yatra at Palace grounds on Sunday.

The Kannada Okkuta had observed Karnataka bandh on January 25 also.
