Puttur, 27 Jul 2014: St Philomena College, department of Kannada in association with Kannada Association and Jaycees Club International (JCI) organized a personality development proogramme for their students at silver jubilee memorial hall, here on Friday July 25.
Speaking on the occasion, JCI trainer Rajesh Bhajangala, said, ‘Youngsters are the future generation of this country. There is a need to empower them. If they to make a mark in this competitive world they have to be well equipped with skill and knowledge.’
Rajesh further said, ‘Every individual should have an insight on one self inorder to improve their strengths and work on their weak points. This session on personality development will you to develop as an individual.’
The College vice principal Professor Vishnu Bhat in his presidential address spoke about the importance of leadership skill. He advised the students to make use of this opportunity provided to them to improve their personality.
JCI trainers Ashwini Krishna and Rajesh Bhajangala were the resource persons at personality development programme that was divided into 2 sessions. The first session on ‘Goal Setting’ helped the students to understand the importance of being focus and be goal oriented. The second session ‘Come out of the Frame’ focused on boosting the confidence level of the students. This programme was organized with an intention to address the problems of the students and help them to be successful in their future endeavor.
Kannada head of department Dr Vijay Kumar Moleyar and JCI members were also present.
