Mangalore, 25 Mar 2013: We honestly wanted to lay strong foundation for JDS in Dakshjina Kannada (DK) district and we were personally invited by JDS state president H D Kumaraswamy to develop the party as third front in DK. Nagaraj Shetty, Sadanand Shetty, Shoukat Ali and other influential locals joined in this mission. However, it has proved futile because of high wielding politicos Amaranath Shetty, Mohammed Kunhi and M B Sadashiv who expelled D A Aslam and Sasiraj Shetty, despite they spent money and energies during the recent civic polls and winning a JDS candidate in Bunder ward, said M G Hegde, JDS core Committee member.
Addressing the media persons at Hotel Woodlands, here on Monday March 25, M G Hegde said that they were fed up with the interferences of long-established JDS party men – Amaranath Shetty, Mohammed Kunhi and M B Sadashiv who were suppressing them in every act and owing to pricking of conscience the newly-joined politicians and others tendered their resignations to JDS state president H D Kumaraswamy, added M G Hegde.
Karnataka state JDS vice president and core Committee member Nagaraj Shetty, state secretary and core Committee member M G Hegde, JDS senior leader and Konaje gram panchayat former president Shoukat Ali, core Committee members Dr Uday Kumar and Ranjit Malli and Mangalore JDS youth president Pradeep Karkera offered mass resignation to state president H D Kumaraswamy.
