Karkala, 09 Jun 2017: The students’ cabinet was for 2017–18 formed at St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Belman, on Friday, June 9.
The students held the role of polling officer and all the election process. The teacher Vincent Pinto was the electioneering officer conducted the proceedings.
Nita Nayak elected as CM of school cabinet, Sinchana Sharma as Deputy CM, Shreyas as opposition party leader, Disha U Shetty as chief secretary and other ministers of different portfolio took the oath that was officiated by head teacher Sr Lucy Pereira.
The senior teacher B Pundalika Marate spoke on the duties of people in democratic nation, significance of casting votes, responsibilities of ministers.
The senior teacher Juliana Moras, convent superior Sr Usha Stella, Lilly D’Souza, teachers Laveena Pinto and Divya were present.
