Puttur, 26 Mar 2017: St Philomena College, the postgraduate department of Mathematics, here, organized a workshop on ‘Methodology for Project work in Mathematics’ at PG seminar hall, on March 20.
Dr B R Shankar, Associate Professor, NITK, Suratkal participated as chief guest and the resource person. He said, ‘Mathematics has grown beyond our imagination. Today, marks card alone is not sufficient to know the real quality of the students.’
Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, chairperson for PG Studies presided the function.
Dr Shobha M E, Assistant Professor, MIT, Manipal participated as the resource person.
Professor Ganesh Bhat, co-ordinator of the department was present on this occasion.
