Moodubelle, 24 December 2016: The Syndicate Bank, Moodubelle Branch organized Christmas celebration along with the customers on Friday, 23 December 2016 at 9.45 am. The celebration was attended by Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle, S.S. Hegde, Regional Officer of Syndicate Bank, Frederick D’Souza, retired officer of Syndicate bank and founder manager of Moodubelle branch of the Syndicate Bank, Alphonse K. Alva, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Vincent Fernandes, newly elected Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Naveen Correa, Principal of St. Lawrence PU College and a number of customers of the Syndicate Bank.
Mario Mathias, Manager of Moodubelle Branch of the Syndicate Bank welcomed the guests and customers.
Thereafter Fr. Clement Mascarenhas along with S.S. Hegde and other dignitaries lighted the lamp in front of the Crib.
S.S. Hegde symbolically cut the Christmas cake which was later distributed to all the guests.
In his Christmas message, Fr. Clement Mascarenahs lauded the Syndicate Bank for organizing the Christmas get-together with the customers. He said that Jesus Christ was born in a manger manifesting His love for the poor and marginalized. Jesus gave the message of peace and love to humanity. It is not important to which religion or community one belongs, but it is important that everyone irrespective of their religion and community should love one another and maintain peace and harmony.
S.S. Hegde also stressed on the need to follow the message of peace and love propagated by Jesus. He also appreciated the initiative taken by the staff of the Syndicate Bank, Moodueblle to celebrate Christmas with its esteemed customers.
