Mangaluru, 25 Sep 2016: The social welfare organizations got to include human values in their agenda, said DK district working journalists Association president Jagannat Shetty Bala.
Jagannat was the chief guest during the valedictory function of Jaycees Week observed by Jaycees Club International (JCI) – Suratkal, near here on Saturday September 24.
He further said Jaycees is not limited to social welfare activities only, instead it also promotes art, language, talent, self employment and other spheres in the society. It’s an association of generous people rather than for the rich and elite, emphasized Jagannat.
Suratkal Nagarika Samiti president Subaschandra Shetty said that Jayces is helping the people in availing state facilities.
JCI zone 15 officer Peter Pinto said that Jaycees contributes for personality development and enhancing social responsibility among the new generation.
