Mumbai, 21 Aug 2016: It’s a milestone event for Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited to open its 100th branch. The poor and middle income groups prefer co-operative banks than national banks because of honesty and loyal service. Co-operative Banks are succor of common man to fulfill their banking needs, said Borivali MP Gopal C Shetty.
MP Gopal was the chief guest speaking after inaugurating the one-hundredth branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank at Dharvesh Grand, IV cross, near Khar (West) railway station, here on Saturday August 20 morning.
Bunts Justice Committee founder president M D Shetty and MP Gopal inaugurated the new branch and ATM kiosk, while the Bank chairman Jaya Suvarna inaugurated the strong room.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman and Billawa Jagruti Balaga presidnet N T Poojary said, It’s the historical day for Billawa community because Bharat Bank that is promoted by Billawar Association Mumbai® has opened one-hundredth branch in India,’ said Poojary.
M D Shetty said that the Bank is surging because of the faresighted plans of chairman Jaya Suvarna. Meanwhile, it makes a lot of difference to ordinary customers to get 2 percent more interest from co-operative banks.
