Beltangady, 12 Oct 2015: ‘Our sins are forgiven if we devoutly worship God. The spiritual bliss attained by cleansing the mind with devotion that becomes holy,’ said Swami Subudendra of Mantralaya mutt.
Swami Subudendra was delivering religious discourse during the valedictory function of workshop on bhajan training held at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, here on Sunday October 11.
‘One got to praise God every moment of our life, in order to keep away from evil thoughts. One who does not worship God will become easy target for all the evils, whereby ones mind become wavering. The daily worship leads to spiritual bliss,’ added Swami Subudendra. He also lauded the social welfare activities of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade.
Veerendra Heggade in his presidential address said, ‘The bhajan training workshop aims at promoting devotion among the people. One gets graces from God by devoutly worshiping God by singing and listening to the religious discourses of devout leaders,’ said Heggade. He also announced that each bhajan group will visit 50 household families to create awareness on devotional singing.
Shankara TV managing director Harikrishna conveyed best wishes. Hemavati V Heggade, D Harshendra Kumar and Swami Mohandas of Manila mutt were present.
A total of 109 bhajan groups comprising 154 men and 55 women participated in weeklong bhajan training workshop.
