Bhopal, 03 Sep 2015: Archdiocese of Bhopal first time organized daylong programme of Rakhi on Wednesday September 2.
In this programme, Archbishop of Bhopal Dr Leo Cornelio was tied Rakhi on his wrist by the students of different schools and also the students received gifts from Bishop Dr Leo Cornelio.
Raksha Bandhan is among one of the most beautiful festivals in India. It is devoted for the special bond of love and care between brothers and sisters.
By greeting with the vote of thanks, Archbishop Dr Leo said, ‘I am glad to attend this program it is very important for me .On this auspicious festival I respect all the religions of different states in India, and also that now a days when girls are unsecured in the outside world this festival is the symbol of safety and security as well.’
‘God is our father and we all are his children. We should always trust in God,’ added Archbishop Dr Leo.
After this, Archbishop Dr Leo thanked everyone present there, wished everyone a happy and prosperous Raksha Bandhan and by thisa the programme concluded.
