Karkal, 25 Mar 2015: The preliminary meeting of Nandalike and Kedinje villagers was held at the chairmanship of Chavadi Aramane Suhas Hegde at Nandalike temple premises here on Tuesday March 24, ahead of Brahmakalashabisheka that will be held at the historical Mahalingeshwar temple, Nandalike from March 25 to March 27 and also to make preparations for Siri Jatra at Nandalike on April 4.
The hundreds of residents of Sooda, Kalya and Belman including Nandalike and Kedinje partaken in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion Suhas Hegde said that the volunteers play key role for the success of Brahmakalashabisheka and Nandalike Siri Jatre that is gaining popularity. The disciplined local volunteers have set an example for other temples, said Hegde.
The volunteers groups were formed to strive for the success of religious programme.
The temple chief priest Harish Tantri, manager Raviraj Bhat, Nandalike V K Rao and others were present.
