Mangaluru, 21 Dec 2014: Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik appeared in district Justice Munsif and First Grade Court (JMFC) here on Saturday December 20, related to 2009 Pub Attack that attracted the global media towards the coastal town.
Speaking to media persons after appearing in the court, Mutalik said, ‘It is the anti-Hindu policy of the Congress-led state government that has re-opened the case which was dead since 2009. This was expected as anti-Hindu policy is common for the state government. I am ready to face it,’ said Mutalik.
‘It has also re-opened the 2008 Church Attack case and discarded the Somashekar Commission report with the intention to set up a new Commission to probe the attacks which is the next step of the anti-Hindu policy,’ said Mutalik.
‘It was the sue-moto case filed by the government and none has filed the case. Congress party will face the same situation as that at the centre if it does not learn the lessons from the 2014 general elections and continue with pro-minority stand,’ added Mutalik.
