Mumbai: True worship lies in bringing spiritual bliss to everyone - Swami Vishvesha

Mumbai, Jul 29, 2014 : The worship of God is not just puja and mangalarati.  God is dwelling in the hearts of everyone, while the cordial relations are truly the worship of God.  The worship lies in bringing spiritual bliss to everyone. It’s what the ancient scriptures propagate.  The helping the women in distress is a noble deed indeed.  It has been achieved by Karnataka Sangh Andheri.  The true worship lies in helping the fellowmen in difficulties.  Once upon a time, the kings ruled their subjects, however, now the subjects are kings to share each others sufferings, said Swami Vishvesha of Pejavar mutt, Udupi.

 

Swami Vishvesha was speaking after inaugurating the seventh anniversary celebration of Karnataka Sangh Andheri, during the function held at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium, Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East) here on Sunday July 27.

 

 

Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti founder Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty presided the programme.

 

Maharashtra health minister Suresh H Shetty was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

Vidwan Kairabettu Vishwanat Bhat, chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, Lata Prabhakar Shetty, N T Poojary, veteran litterateur Dr Sunita M Shetty, entrepreneur Karunakar M Shetty, Lata Jayaram Shetty, Nagaraj Padukone, Ganapati B, Vishwanat Shetty Mahim were present on the occasion.

 

The renown social activist Jasmine Group of Companies – Kalyan chairman Dr Surendra V Shetty and Baby Surendra Shetty were felicitated on the same occasion.

 

The scholarships were distributed to hundreds of needy students during the programme.

 

Jayakrishna Shetty in his presidential address said that the Sangh has been a succor to all those who seek financial help to pursue studies and needy patients.  The Sangh believes the societal progress can only be achieved by educational empowerment, said Shetty.

 

Karnataka Sangh Andheri ® founder Krishna B Shetty, honorary president P Dhananjay Shetty, president Harry R Sequeira, former presidents Bhaskar Suvarna and K Ashit Shetty, treasurer Ganesh Ballaya, vice presidents Satish Karkera, Ravindra Shetty, Sudhesh Naik and Nilesh Shettigar, joint secretaries Sitaram K Poojary, Jagjeevan Poojary and Damodar Gowda, joint treasurers Uday M Kergal, Jagdish Amin and Harish Shetty, cultural Committee president Damodar Shetty, youth wing and sports Committee president Ashok Todar, women wing president Kavita Rao, honorary secretary Anita U Shetty and others were present.
