Bantwal: Atidor Tammana present over 118 delicacies of Tulunadu

Bantwal, Jul 29, 2014 : At the joint aegis of taluk Jain Milan and Yuva Jain Milan, Aatidora Tammana, was held for the successive fourth year at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunateshwar Kalyana Mantapa, here on Sunday July 27.
The Jain household families presented nearly 118 varieties of delicacies that are well known since ancient times in Tulunadu. All these delicacies were homemade and shared on the occasion.
Tulunadu folk-art depicting the significance of each month in Tulunadu calendar and traditions, practices were showcased during the programme.
The state forests and Dakshina Kannada district-in-charge minister Ramanat Rai inaugurated the programme.
The minister Rai said that these kinds of programmes help the new generation of youth to get updated on Tulunadu culture.
Bantwal taluk Jain Milan president Vrashaba Kumar Indra presided the programme.
Jain Milan secretary Pushparaj Jain was the chief guest of the occasion.
Pushparaj said that Bantwal Jain Milan has proved that the community always supports an Association when its engaged in social welfare activities, said Pushparaj.
Tahsildar Malleswamy, Bharatiya Jain Milan director Sudarshan Jain, Yuvaraj Jain Moodbidri were present on the occasion.
Jain Milan secretary Rajprasad Ariga, Yuva Jain Milan president Shreyansa Jain, secretary Naveen Kumar, convener Subaschandra Jain, Dr Sudeep, Dr Seema Sudeep and others were also present.
