Udupi: Happiness lies in serving with least expectation - Manjunat Upadhyaya

Udupi, Jul 28, 2014 : Rotaract has the key objective of instilling social concern, service orientation and patriotism among the wayward youth by proper guidance, thereby inspire them to strive for the humanitarian service. The results of good deeds are well being, respect and happiness. The serving the mankind without any expectation is the basis of true happiness, said Rotary Club International (RCI) district 3180 Rotaract district chairman Manjunat Upadhyaya.
Upadhyaya was speaking during the installation of new office bearers of Rotaract Club, during the function held at Rotary community building, Shankarapura, near here on Saturday July 26.
RCI – Shankarapura president Jerome Rodrigues installed Sumalata as new president of Rotaract.
Geetashree Upadhyaya was also present on the occasion.
Rotaract president Gladson Kundar presided the programme.
The district Rotaract representative Razaq Kabakakars Puttur, former district representative Sumit Kumar Kinnigoli, coastal representative Jayaraj Katpady, Rotaract zonal director Francis D’Sa, Rotaract past speaker Daniel C Ammanna, new speaker Victor Vaz were the chief guests present.
TV reporter/cameraman Pramod, Rotaract top president awardee Gladson Kundar, exiting speaker Daniel Ammanna, Chidanand Poojary and Chandra Poojary were felicitated on the same occasion.
The teaching aids was distributed to Anganawady – Innanje, Schools of Mandedi, Kunjurgiri, Bijantla, Aims for service unit – Arasinakatte, Bantakal, near here.
Gladson welcomed the gathering. The secretary Chidanand presented the annual report. Manohar and Malini Shetty introduced the dignitaries. Chandra Poojary compered the programme. The new secretary Joel Santosh proposed vote of thanks.
