Mumbai: Billawar Association convenes 82nd AGM in metro

Mumbai, Jul 28, 2014 : Billawar Association Mumbai ® convened eighty-second annual general body meeting at Narayana Guru auditorium, Billawara Bhavan, Santacruz (East) here on Sunday July 27.

 

Billawar Association Mumbai ® president L V Amin presided the programme here on Sunday morning.

 

 

Billawar Association Mumbai ® honorary president Jaya C Suvarna offered motion for the meeting.

 

Speaking on the occasion, L V Amin said Billawar Association has become close to the people by social welfare activities.  Billawa community need to raise education standards to be empowered for greater prosperity, said Amin.  He urged the community to help the economically-weaker brethrens to be empowered.

 

Jaya Suvarna said that Billawar Association has been striving for the upliftment of community for over 8 decades.  The community has persevered hunger, insult, oppression and misery to become a progressive community.  The ideals of Brahmashree Narayana Guru will bring further progress to the community, said Jaya.
