Mumbai: Honesty in financial services essential - MLA Narayan Gowda

Mumbai, Jul 21, 2014 : A community has to be economically-empowered to lead that community. It needs its own financial institution to achieve that objective. It will rely on the trust of every customer, shareholder and board of directors, in making optimum use of funds. The honesty in financial services is essential. At the existing financial situation, it’s indeed a challenge to manage the financial institutions. If the board of directors responds positively, they will significantly contribute for the prosperity of community, said the metro-based Jayalaxmi Co-operative Credit Society chairman Narayan R Gowda.
Narayan was delivering presidential address during the fourteenth annual general body meeting of Jayalaxmi Co-operative Credit Society that is floated by metro-based Okkaliga Sangha Maharashtra ®, here on Sunday July 20 afternoon.
The Society chairman and Karnataka MLA Narayan Gowda inaugurated the programme.
The Society directors Chandar C Chari, Mutte S Gowda, A Kempe Gowda, R U Lagade, Anusuya R Gowda, Devaki N Gowda and Sunanda R Gowda were present at the dais.
Mallikarjunaswamy Kanjurmarg performed the Vedic rites on the occasion.
