Puttur: Robot disinfectant sprayer for areca plantation; demo on Jul 26

Puttur, 19 Jul 2014: A robot disinfectant sprayer for areca plantations has been indigenously assembled, while the demo of the same will be held at the plantations of A P Sadashiv at Marike, Sampya, near here on Saturday July 26.

 
The demo will be held at the aegis of city-based Gida Geletana Sangha, in association with Adike – Kannada local farming bulletin, CAMPCO, Facebook agriculturists group and Payasvini organic farming fraternity, Netravati organic farming solution, Seva Bharati organic farming solutions, on robot disinfectant sprayer, areca plant climbing machine, CAMPCO introduced sprayer, arecanut dehusking machine, on Saturday July 26 from 10.00am to 1.00pm.

 

 
The farmers who have surpluses of vegetable seeds, fruits can sell their produce at the venue, informed Gida Geletana Sangha president Vishwanat Poojary and secretary Shivasubramanya Pelattadka.
