Ganiga Samaja Mumbai convenes AGM

Mumbai, 16 Jul 2014: In spite of several obstacles, we have led Ganiga Samaja Mumbai ® since the past 18 years.  We have secured a plot with your contributions to build our own office.  Furthermore, we can contribute for future growth with unity, said Ganiga Samaja Mumbai ® president Jagannat Ganiga.
 
Jagannat was addressing the gathering during eighteenth annual general body meeting of Ganiga Samaja Mumbai ® at Pejavar mutt, Santacruz (East) here on Sunday July 13.
 
It was decided to organize the inaugural of new office on January 24 / 25 2014.  The funds required for furnishing the office and the estimate cost of organizing the inaugural function was discussed.

 

 

 
Ratnakar Shetty Thane suggested contributing Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 per family of community towards the same and offered assurance of offsetting the balance by himself.
 
The metro-based Hospital Services Private Limited proprietor Y Babu Rao handed over cash of Rs 1 lac towards the above said expenditure.  Sadanand Kallianpur and Venkatesh Balkebail also handed their contributions.  U Balachandra Katpady handed Rs 5,000 in this regard.
 
B V Rao rendered the prayers.  Shankar welcomed the gathering.  The treasurer Chandrashekar Ganiga proposed vote of thanks.
 
The programme concluded with fellowship meal on the occasion.
