Mangalore: Huge tree uproots on house at Kadri

Mangalore, Jul 10, 2014 : A huge tree located besides the road at Kadri uprooted on the house of Dr Nambiar here on Wednesday July 9 night. 

 

The saplings planted by forest department under community forestry along the road from Kadri – Nantoor, a few years ago has grown to be huge tree that was uprooted on the house on Thursday morning.  Despite moderate rains and no heavy winds, the tree collapsed here on Wednesday night.  

 

 

The city fire brigade personnel chopped-off the branches and cleared the tree here on Thursday July 10 morning.  

 

The local corporator Sabita Misquit was present at the spot.
