Kundapur: Shanti Carvalho elected as President of Catholic Sthree Sanghatan

Kundapur, 6 July 2014:  In a recently held electionSanthiCarvalho has been elected as President of CatholicSthreeSanghatan with a big majority.  The other members elected are Juliet Pais (Vice-President), Shaila P. Almeida (Gen Secretary), Nirmal D’Souza (Joint Secretary), Ida D’Silva (Treasurer), and Lona Lewis elected as representative of Mothiam News Bulletin.

 

 

The election was conducted by KundapurVard President Ms. Vinay D’Costa.  Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil D’Souza congratulated the newly elected committee members of SthreeSanghatan and wished them good luck.

Earlier Former President Shaila P. Almeida welcomed the gathering and Former Gen. Secretary Lavina Almeida read the Annual Report.  Vote of thanks was proposed by Former Joint Secretary Lona Lewis.
