Karkal: Personality Devt Camps should transform students into National Asset; R K Nayak

Karkal, 19 Apr 2014 : At the backdrop of IT and competitive world, the community organizations and religious centers ought to hold camps that would enable the students to develop positive thinking, to help them with studies that would support them to excel in studies and instill moral values. The camps should transform the students into responsible future citizens, said the city’s renowned enterepreneur Ramakrishna Nayak, chairman of R K Group.
Nayak was speaking after inaugurating five-day camp on personality development for high school and pre-university college students at Sri Adishakti Mahalaxmi temple premises, Laxmipura, Hirgana, near here on Friday April 18. It was organized by Rajapura Saraswat Brahmin Sangh ® Laxmipura and Saraswat Learning Foundation USA.
The veteran thinker and journalist B Pundalika Marate Shirva was the chief guest, said that everyone has inherent talent, while the camps provides a platform to exhibit their talent. There are studies beyond medicine and engineering that are much favoured by the parents, said Pundalika. He also explained the traditions and customs of Rajapura Saraswat Brahmin, religious practices, family life and the modern lifestyle.
Sri Adishakti Mahalaxmi temple managing trustee Narayan Gavalkar in his presidential address said that one should be fortunate to be born in India that is the abode of glorious culture. One who is truly close to God experiences the serenity that leads him/her to live worthy life on earth, said Gavalkar.
RSB Sangh vice president Anand Prabhu, Ashok Nayak, Nityanand Nayak, Radhakrishna Bhat, Harish Nayak Kukkundoor, Neere Govind Nayak, Vidyanand Tendulkar, Laxman Nayak, Devendra Nayak Ajekar, Sitaram Prabhu were present.
