Mumbai: Bharat Bank, Goregaon (E) Branch celebrates 30th Anniversary

Mumbai, 19 Apr 2014: The thirtieth anniversary celebration of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, Goregaon (East) branch was held here on Saturday April 19. Satyanarayana puja was held at the branch here on Saturday morning followed by stage programme.
The Bank chairman Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the programme here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Jaya Suvarna said that Goregaon (East) branch is the third among 55 branches of Bharat Bank was established in Radha Kunj building in 1955, which was later shifted to Sumant Estate in the same locality and inaugurated by the former union finance minister Bantwal Janardhan Poojary. The branch has key accounts and contributing significantly to the overall profitability of the Bank, said Jaya Suvarna.
The Bank directors advocate S B Amin, Bhaskar M Salian, managing director C R Mulky, former directors N Nityanand and Gopal Jattan, the Bank’s high-worth customer Vinayaka Samant, Omprakash Sultania, Anirudda Joshi, O P Singh, Anil Chanderi, Prasad Desai, Srikant Lavande, Suresh Kamat, L R Anchan and others were present.
The Bank chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, chief manager Professor Shekar Poojary, deputy chief managers Vivek S Shanbagh, Suresh S Salian, Shobha Dayanand, Nityanand D Kotian, Vidhyanand S Karkera and Raghu Poojary, assistant managers Vidhyanand S Karkera, Vishwanat G Suvarna, Dinesh B Salian, Navinchandra S Bangera, Vasudev M Salian, Prabhakar G Suvarna, Ramesh S Poojary, Kishore D Kotian, Jagdish Narayan and other officers including shareholders, customers, well wishers were also present.
Goregaon (East) branch manager Mohandas Hejmady welcomed the gathering. The assistant manager Prakash Amin proposed vote of thanks.
