Abu Dhabi, 11 Apr 2014: Fully Jam Packed audience enjoyed a most memorable Musical night “Yaadon Ki Baarat” presented by Broadway Events in association withIndia Social & Cultural center Abu Dhabi held at its main auditorium on Thursday ,10th April 2014: The mesmerizing musical event programme began with lighting the Traditional lamp with all the dignitaries on the dais.
All thecommittee Members of ISC , Broadway event Management and Chief Guest s were invited to the stage by emcee of the day Rupert Vaz and presented them with the floral Bouquet to all and a Memento to the sponsors.
A brief introduction of Rajesh Khanna “Tribute to Rajesh Khanna – 1942 to 2012 “ followed by the slide show presented beautifully “Yaadon Ki Baarat” A Journey into the evergreen Melodies was presented.
After the success of Rafi, Kishore Nite, lata Ki SunheriYaadein Yet another Musical evening with The Golden Melodies of Yesteryears with tribute to Rajesh Khanna was presented by. Renowned singers from India AnithaD’souza, Mohammed Haneef, Sreekanth, and Ranjan Das sang wonderfulsongs to the applaud of audiene, remembering Bollywood Top play back singers Mukesh, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, LataMangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle Huge jam pack audience enjoyed the full evening with down the lane memories remembering olden golden days of their life most memorable golden evergreen numbers of Rajesh Khanna movies, cheering applaudingand dedicating songs to their loved once.
This was the first time in the history of ISC that saw such a great rapport from the audience and especially the Mangalorean community supporting Broadway for their venture into this most memorable magical musical event.
It was followed by a Broadway Junior Band, a School children’s from Abu Dhabi sung two songs very beautifully by Dev Kodnani, Ryan Vaz, Joseph Sebastian and Valancio Fernandis.
All the media personnel were presented with floral bouquetsprior to conclusion of the programme.

A wonderful tribute to the Original Superstar of Indian Cinema. Kakaji really deserves for this and much more. Nobody can replace this Immortal Lover with class touch of human emotions and ethics with his brilliant and most versatile characterization in films after films, though in pure commercial environment wherein cheap formula masala films dominate the Industry. Kakaji you are nonparallel. |
