Kuwait: Konkani Catholic Community Nativity Celebrations

Kuwait, 09 Sep 2012: On Sunday 9th September, the Konkani Catholic community of Kuwait celebrated the Nativity Feast at the Holy Family Cathedral.
Four associations, mainly Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA), CRC Chinchinim Kuwait, Shirva Welfare Association and Goan Cultural Centre united together to celebrate with the community at large.
Mass was celebrated at 4:30pm with the blessings of the palm, followed by Dinner at 6:30pm.
The sumptuous dinner was provided by M&M Confectioners. Approximately 3,500 people attended the celebrations.
KCWA Vice President Nitin Castelino delivered the vote of thanks. Sincere thanks to the well-wishers and Konkani community for making the day possible.
