Mangalore 13 August 2012:  Bellevision.com a leading web portal of Coastal Karnataka, has been serving the Mangalorean Community living across the world since a decade.  Bellevision.com had a humble beginning in the year 2002 as a bridge between Belle and those natives of the village who have settled elsewhere mainly in  Gulf countries.

 

Since the last ten years, Bellevision.com has grown in stature.  Its readership has increased beyond region and religion and has become an integral part of day to day lives of people of the Coastal Konkan region mainly Udupi, Mangalore and its surrounding districts who are spread all over the globe. On this occasion and to spread this important news all over Karnataka and people of Karnataka residing all over the globle, a press conference was held at the Mangalore Press Club on Monday the 13th August 2012 at 10:30am.  Speaking to press people HM Pernal, noted konkani writer/critic and editor of kittall.com informed that Bellevision.com has carved a niche for itself  in the past ten years and expressed confidence that  the photo contest would evoke good response from the readers.

Bellevision.com is completing 10 glorious years of its existence this year and is proud of its achievements so far.  To celebrate this proud moment, Bellevision.com is announcing an online photo contest titled ‘Bellevision Cute-kid photo contest’ for the people of Karnataka living world over. This will be a great opportunity for proud parents to showcase unique photographs of their beautiful and sweet kids and win fabulous prizes. The contest is expected to evoke an overwhelming response.

 

This contest will be held in two categories for children in the age group of 0–2 years and 2–5 years as on September 30, 2012.  In the first phase, entries will be accepted online for each group with option to upload 2 photographs per kid.  Once the submission date is over, expert panel of judges will shortlist 50 contestants from each category. The shortlisted contestants will be eligible for voting by the website readers.  Final winners will be selected on the basis of the number of votes in favour of each contestant and the points awarded by the judges. Similarly, the highest voted contestants in each category will also walkway with special prizes.

 

Following prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category:
 
1st Prize :Rs 20,000  |  2nd Prize :10,000 | 3rd Prize :5,000
 
There will be 10 consolation prizes. Highest voted contestant in each category will win Rs.7,500
 
Last date for Registration and submission of photographs - 10th October 2012
Names of 50 shortlisted contestants will be declared on – 15th October 2012
Closing date for voting shortlisted contestants – 10 November 2012
Winners will be declared on – 14 November 2012
