Mangalore: Update on The Blessed Holy Hill Mangalore

Mangalore, 20 July 2012: With reference to the Holy hill attack on 24 June 2012, now the situation has become normalized. The gates are open daily for the devotees to visit from morning 6 am till evening 7 pm. Also one hour daily prayer service takes place from 6pm to 7pm. Lots of people attend this prayer meet.
The Lamp below the feet of the Cross has been restored. This beautiful Lamp is donated by a well-wisher. The electric connection which was destroyed is also got repaired.
The surroundings full of greenery and colourful flowers change the atmosphere totally calm and very peaceful. No doubt, Holy Hill gained back its beauty. The magnificent view attracts to all.
Today, the senior most Priests from Vianney Home Mangalore, Fr. Charles Moraes. Fr. Dennis Castalino and Fr. John Noronha visited the Holy Hill and took part in the evening prayer.
The Land Owner Mr. Paul Noel Rodrigues was present. He said that the devotees are increasing day by day and they are looking forward to have its Annual Day Grand Celebration on 14 September 2012. They do have lots of plans for the event. At the same time they are praying for a good number of well-wishers/donors to make the event grand and meaningful.
The care takers Mr. Melvyn D’Silva and Mr. Joseph D’Souza and many locals were present and said that it is very peaceful and lots of blessings are pouring from Heavenly Father.
