Moodubelle: The project of concretization of road inaugurated

Moodubelle, 26 June 2012: The project of concretization of road for a distance of 150 meters and also for dammar  finishing of the remaining road was inaugurated on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 11 by Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, member of the Udupi Zilla Panchayat due to whose efforts the Udupi Zilla Panchayat had sanctioned an amount of rupees 13 lakhs 25 thousand for the project.

 

Besides Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, the inaugural function was attended by   Devdas Hebbar, president of Udupi Taluk Panchayat, Mrs. Jacinta Aranha, president of Belle Grama Panchayat,  Gurudas Bhandary, member of the Udupi Taluk Panchayat,  Harish Kini, president of Alevooru Grama panchayat, Ganesh Shetty, member of the Kodibettu Grama Panchayat, John D’Almeida, Vincy Fernandes, Karunakara Shetty and the villagers. The contract for the project ahs been awarded to Manjunath naik and Fayaz.

 

 

Speaking at this occasion, Devdas Hebbar said that tenders have been passed for three more important projects: full damar finish to road from Alevooru to Ninjoor at the cost of  two and half crores of rupees; widening and damar finish to road from the entrance of the church to Pernankila at the cost of rupees two and half crores and repair and damarization of road from Naalku Beedhi to Shirva at the cost of rupees one crore twenty thousand.
