Bahrain: Exciting and educative animal and bird show

Kuwait, 19 April 2012: Denis Mascarenhas of Shirva working in Kuwait took a brief break to meet his family in Bahrain. During that time there was an exhibition of animals and birds. He took this opportunity to take his family to the exhibition where he clicked a number of pictures which are displayed for the viewing of the readers of Bellevision.com.
Visitors to the exhibition were treated to a range of exciting events for the everyone such as a falconry display, a petting zoo for children, a farmer’s market and much more. The live shows also featured many farm and domesticated animals, including horses, cows, sheep, goats, camels and dogs. Some of these shows took place through competitions in which winners were awarded for the best performances as judged by specialized arbitration committees. In addition, the exhibition also hosted a bird show, a major event for pigeon and pet birds breeders and lovers. This show featured around 1500 birds and included exciting bird competitions judged by local and international judges.
Visitors were also introduced to the science and hi-tech aspects of farming. The exhibition covered equipment and mechanization, pesticides, biotechnology, biological fertilizers, agricultural food processing, fodder, latest technologies in the development of livestock production, poultry and fish farming. This aspect of the show focussed on intensive agricultural fodder and how to get the highest productivity per unit area using the least amount of water.
