Udupi, 28 February 2012: Jayaprakash Hegde contesting the election for Udupi – Chickmagalur constituency from Congress party, is the owner of Rs. 2,89,91,403 worth property and also has a loan of Rs. 1,19,99,280. While submitting his nomination he declared the wealth possessed by him and his wife. His wife possess Rs. 31,60,715 worth property and Rs. 90,53,031 loans.
Hegde has invested Rs. 26,36,403 in various Banks, Insurance, Vehicle and gold. Rs. 25,80,677 is invested in the name of his wife, among that there is Toyota Corolla car. Hegde possesses 25 gram (Rs. 50,000) and his wife 950 gram (19,00,00) gold jewelry. Besides this Hegde has Rs. 2,63,55,000 land, plots and building in Kundapura and Bangalore. In his wife’s name Rs. 5,80,038 worth land is there.
