Vijaya Bank celebrates 81st founding day at Manasa Pamboor

Udupi, 24 October 2011: October 23 being the founding day of Vijaya Bank, its 81st anniversary celebrations were organised by Shirva Vijaya Bank Branch Manager Mr Panduranga Kamath and his staff at Pamboor Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre for people with special needs by distributing sweets for the inmates and honouring the international medal winner, sports person and inmate Ms Prameela.

 

Branch manager Mr Panduranga Kamath highlighted in simple words the achievements and services of Vijaya Bank and how the bank is helping, in its limited capacity, the needy children with special needs. Pamboor Parish St Vincent de Paul Society President Mr Panjimaru Lucas D’souza and Shirva Rotary President Mr Pambooru Ronald Sequeira were the chief guests. Also present were bank assistant manager Mr Sadananda Shetty, bank staff member Mr Prashanth Shetty and bank customer Mr Sandesh Kumar. Manasa institute Principal Sister Thelma welcome the gathering and the warden of the centre Sister Lisa proposed a vote of thanks.
