Qatar: Monthi Fest Competitions Organized by Konkani Community

Doha, 05 August 2011: Greetings to you on behalf of the Konkani Speaking Community (KSC) of Our Lady Of Rosary Church, Doha Qatar. As announced by Fr, Anand during the konkani mass, Konkani Speaking Committee  is pleased to inform you that in preparation for Monthi fest / Nativity feast, we have organized  this year Drawing and Hymn Singing competition for the Konkani Community for the various age groups.

Drawing competition will be held on 26th August and Singing competition will be held on 2nd September 2011 at the Seraphic hall at 5 p.m. The Competition is open to all Konkani Speaking Catholics residing in Qatar.

Application and Rules of the competition are given below for your information and participation. We request you all to participate in large numbers in this celebration and honour Mother Mary and praise God in a special way, through our mother tongue Konkani.

We encourage all budding artists and singers young children as well as teenagers and adults to make use of this opportunity and take part in these competitions and exhibit your talents.

We look forward for your overwhelming support and participation. Let us come together as one KONKAN  family for the greater glory of God through our talents.
