Udupi: Support to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev

Udupi, 02 June 2011: Various organizations in Udupi District have expressed their support to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s unlimited fasting movement from 04th June at Delhi’s Boat Club, against the corruption and for getting back the Indian black money from the foreign Banks. In support of Baba’s movement, more than thousand supporters from Udupi District are planning to go to Delhi. In this fasting movement Pejavara Shree will be participating, said Bharath Swabhiman Trust District leader Raghvendra Acharya in the press conference.

 

In support of Baba on 04th June fasting movement will take place in all the District centers of state. The same way in Udupi also the movement is planned. A meeting was arranged on Wednesday to discuss this matter. In this meeting Pathanjali Yoga Samithi, District Consumers Vedhike, Tetired Government Employees Union, Sanathana Sansthe, Former Solder’s Union, Dharmastala Gramabivradi Yojane, Railway passengers Union, Sarvodaya Trust and District Senior Citizens participated and have given their support to this fasting movement, said Acharya.

 

 

 

Until the three demands put forward by Baba; bringing back the money from the foreign Banks, implementation of Lokpal Bill against corruption and bringing to an end of the foreign laws in Independent India, are fulfilled, like in Delhi, the fasting movement from morning 10.00 am to evening 06.00 pm will take place in front of Deputy Commissioner’s Office, he said.

 

In the press conference Vijaykumar, S.S. Thonse, K. Damodar Aythal, Pavan Kumar, M. Vishvanath Bhat and others from various organizations were present.
