Mangaluru: DK district DC Dr Jagadeesh f’ted upon transfer as director of mining

Mangaluru, 14 Oct 2017: A farewell function to bid adieu to DK district Deputy Commissioner Dr K G Jagadeesh was held at district headquarter, here, on Friday, October 13, upon his transfer as director of state mining and geology department.

 

The city police commissioner Suresh presided the programme.

 

 

ADC Kumar lauded the simplicity, discipline and humane virtues of Dr Jagadeesh in discharging his duties. He laid emphasis on welfare of physically challenged, old and orphans. He restored trust of people by patiently listening to their grievances and with due respect.

 

SP Sudhir Kumar Reddy, municipal commissioner Mohammed Nazeer, officers from various departments felicitated Dr Jagadeesh on the occasion.

 

Dr Jagadeesh in his acknowledgement to felicitations said, ‘I gained good experience serving in DK district, where people are law abiding.  Meanwhile, the honesty of staff from the lowest grade to district officers in discharging their duties can make a difference in total governance.’  He thanked the people of district for their love and respect towards him.
