Bantwal: Minister Ramanath Rai updates on mega drinking water project ready shortly

Bantwal, 13 Oct 2017: The integral drinking water project is underway at a cost of Rs 57.79 crore under UIDSMT programme, to draw water from Netravati River at the limits of municipality, while CM Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the works at the earliest, said district-in-charge B Ramanath Rai.
Addressing the media persons, here, after reviewing the ongoing works that are underway, at the shore of Netravati River, at Jakribettu, here, minister Rai said that the project is underway based on the projected population of 20 years. The facility would supply 42 lac litres of drinking water per day.
