Mangaluru: Divo konkani weekly and Kavita Trust jointly organizes get-together on August 20

Mangaluru, 17 Aug 2017: On the auspicious occasion of Konkani Language recognized in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution on August 20, Divo Konkani Weekly’s (Mumbai) and Kavita Trust (Mangaluru) organising a grand get-together on Sunday 20th August 2017 at 3.30 p.m at the Bishop Jathanna Auditorium, Kaces Compound, Balmatta Mangalore.

 

All Konkani Writers, Konkani Artists, Poets, Well-wishers are cordially invited for the get-together.

 

The call goes out to all Konkani lovers to come join us, let us spend two hours of our time with each other and strengthen our loyalty to our mother tongue.

 

Kavitha Trust will regale us with the best of the Konkani poetry recital.

 

Remember, 25 years ago, on August 20,  the day that Konkani got her due recognition in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution.
