Bantwal: Sea of Devotees have holy dip on Aati Amavasye at Shiva Temple, Narahari Hill

Bantwal, 24 Jul 2017: The devotees in a large numbers flocked Lord Shiva temple, located on atop Narahari hill, 1,000 feet above sea level at the tri-junction of Panemangaluru-Amtoor-Goltamajal villages, along Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH 75, near here, on Sunday, July 23, to have holy dip into the pools on the auspicious occasion of Aati Amavasye.

 

 

The devotees including women and children queued up on Sunday early morning, to have holy dip in the sacred pools seeking divine graces to fulfill their wishes.

 

The newly-wed couples also climbed the steps to reach the temple above the hill and offered beetle and areca to Lord Shiva and had dip in the pools.
