Mumbai: Bharat Co-op Bank achieves net profit of Rs 117.48 crore; announce 15% dividend

Mumbai, 20 Jun 2017: Bharat Co-operative Bank is the most trusted bank for the customers from lower strata who are helped to set up small businesses and encouraged to save. Its committed to provide banking facilities at par with nationalized banks to all the customers, said the chairman Jaya C Suvarna.
Jaya was speaking during 41st annual general body meeting of Bharat Co-operative Bank, held at Brijavasi Palace banquet hall, Sonavane Road, Goregaon (East), here, on Saturday, June 17.

The Bank has achieved an annual turnover of Rs 1,964 crore; 12.97 percent more than the past year. The deposits stands at Rs 1,267 crore; 13.90 percent more than past year, loans and advances stands at Rs 698 crore; 11.56 percent more than the past year – with net profit of Rs 119.08 core. It has opened 13 new branches, one extension counter and ATM. It has a total of 101 branches so far, said Jaya Suvarna.
He also announced dividend of 15 percent to shareholders this year also. He thanked the bank customers, bank staff including officers in helping the bank to make rapid strides in every sphere of banking services.
