Puttur: St Philomena College holds orientation programme for degree students

Puttur, 20 Jun 2017: On the occasion of commencement of academic year 2017-18, an orientation programme was held for the students of second and final year Degree at St Philomena College, here, on Monday, June 19.
The programme was inaugurated by the correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto. In his presidential address he said, ‘The students who work with discipline, obedience, harmony and dedication will become good citizens of the country.’
The campus director Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, in his address said, ‘Education is the process of facilitating learning or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits.’
The principal Professor Leo Noronha presented the rules and regulations of the college.
Anarghya of final year BSc presented the prayer song. The student welfare officer Dr Vijaya Kumar M welcomed the gatheirng. The student welfare officer Bharathi S Rai compered the programme.
