Shocking! Son of Mumbai cop confesses to killing his mother

Mumbai, 26 May 2017: The son of a Mumbai police inspector, who had investigated the Sheena Bora murder case, was arrested in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on Thursday and has confessed to killing his mother late Tuesday evening, police sources said.

 

Jodhpur police, based on an alert from Mumbai police, arrested 21-year-old Siddhant Ganore at a hotel in Jodhpur following which he confessed to killing his mother, police sources said.

 

Police inspector Dnyaneshwar Ganore’s wife Dipali (42) was found stabbed to death at their Versova house on Tuesdaynight and their 21-year-old son Siddhant had gone missing.

 

Dipali was stabbed five times in abdomen and four times on neck. Police had found a smiley drawn in blood near her body with a message that read – “Tired of Her. Catch me and Hang me.” 

 

Police had also found Siddhant’s blood-stained clothes dumped in bathroom. The watchman of the society had said he saw Siddhant leaving alone in the evening. The cops had then focused their investigation around him and alerted police from the places he was likely to visit.

 

Siddhant reportedly told the police he used to have fights with his mother that caused him a lot of stress. On Tuesdaytoo he had a big quarrel with his mother after which he lost control and killed her.

 

Two years ago, Siddhant had left home for a couple of days after he had received an admonition from his mother. His father used to give in to his demands after that incident, police sources said.
