The historically famous Varvadikere is located in a picturesque location nearby Kodamanittaya deity. It has water throughout the year. It’s a practice since ages to gather at the lake annually when the water recedes for collectively fishing.
The villagers collectively fix a day to gather at the lake for fishing, none of them can venture into water on their own for the sake.
The leader among the locals lays the net, followed by others. The fish that they get are shared equally among them.
