The evening was graced by Milan Arun, president of Indian Cultural Centre Qatar (ICC) as the chief guest, with Praveen Kumar Shetty, chairman, Fortune Group of Hotels, Dubai, Fayaz C K, business development manager of Al Zaman Exchange, the event sponsor, Ravi Shetty, managing director of Advanced Technical Services (ATS), Qatar, Viresh Manangi, general manager of Al-Muftah Contracting as guests of honor.

The director of Roopakala Troupe, Rajyotsava Awardee Satish Pai was felicitated by the Vision Events partners and other dignitaries on the stage. He in turn spoke about the struggle that they had faced during initial years, the support they received from many kind hearted people and thanked Vision Events for giving them the opportunity to perform in Qatar. The evening was beautifully compered by Dr Padmashree Shetty who mesmerized the audience with her fluent Kannada.

With a beautifully erected stage setting, Roopkala Nataka Mandali’s ’Mooru Muthu’, an evergreen superhit drama started with a big applause by the audience. During the next three hours, superb performances by all the artistes who put in their life and soul into presenting such a tremendous rib-tickling comedy play mesmerized the audience who did not even realize the time. The credit should go to the director Satish Pai who had full command on his troupe. It was like a family affair for him as he shared the stage with his brother Santosh Pai who made the crowd go crazy with his brilliant performance as a deaf. They were supported by various other enthusiastic co-actors. On the whole it was a different kind of drama which was a blend of real comedy, tilting music, tickling dialogues, beautiful costumes bundled with best performance by each and every character to make it a unique package. The evening was enjoyed by one and all who had gathered to witness the maiden event of Vision Events.

The main sponsor of the Event was Al Zaman Exchange.
