Konkani veteran litterateurs felicitate Edwin J F D’Souza, recipient of Konkani Literary Award

Mangaluru, 08 Feb 2017: Genesis Publication and Konkani’s veteran litterateurs in city felicitated Edwin J F D’Souza, Konkani Literary Award winner of Kendra Sahitya Academy, New Delhi, during the function held at the auditorium of Fatima Retreat House, Jeppu, here on Sunday, February 5.

 

The veteran Konkani litterateurs Fr Mark Walder, Eddy Netto and J F D’Souza Attavar, Genesis Publications proprietor Marcel D’Souza (Maccha Milar) and Ron Roche Cascia felicitated Edwin J F D’Souza on the occasion.

 

 

Marcel D’Souza briefed about gist of Konkani Book, Kale Bangar, authored by Edwin J F D’Souza that earned him Konkani Literary Award by Kendra Sahitya Academy, New Delhi.

 

The poet Yashwant D S introduced award recipient Edwin J F D’Souza.

 

Edwin in acknowledgement of honor said that he developed the interest in reading literatures of many languages owing to his parents and teachers motivation. He further began writing and continued my endeavor in creating Konkani literature at par with top languages.

 

The veteran litterateurs also held discussion with Edwin to get feedback from him.
