Udupi: Friends Katpady to host 3rd National Flood-lit Cricket Trophy from Feb 10 to 12

Udupi, 19 Jan 2017: Adani – UPCL CEO Kishore Alva unveiled 3rd National-level flood-lit Cricket Trophy, to be hosted by Friends Katpady®, at Kaup press club, here on Thursday, January 19. The tournament will be held from February 10 to February 12.

 

Addressing the media persons, entrepreneur Suresh Shetty Gurme said, Friends Katpady® has been hosting top level cricket tournament in the history of Udupi district. The cricket teams from Bengaluru, Davanagere, Mysuru, Mumbai, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa including undivided Dakshina Kannada district will partake in the tourney.

 

 

The winning team will get cash award of Rs 2 lac and trophy, while the runner up will get cash award of Rs 1 lac and trophy. Special prizes will be presented to top players in each tournament.

 

The dignitaries and sports personalities will attend the inaugural of tourney here on February 10.

 

Karnataka state Minority Commission chairman M A Gafoor, the journalists of Kaup and Padubidri, leading athletes and social activists will be felicitated during the inaugural function.
