Mangaluru: World renowned Prof Sir Sabaratnam Arul Kumaran to visit FMMC on Jan 22

Mangaluru, 19 Jan 2017: World renowned Professor Sir Sabaratnam Arul Kumaran, professor of OBG from St George’s University, London will be visiting Father Muller Medical College on Sunday, January 22 at 5.00pm.

 

He is the past president of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists and International Federation of Gynaecologists. Of the many accolades to his credit, the one that the professor is most proud of - being honored as knight bachelor in the Queen’s Birthday Honors list in June 2009 for his services to medicine.

 

He is stalwart who has authored many academic textbooks that are used for post graduate teaching like ‘The management of labor.’ A man of humility and grace, his passion lies in clinical research and post graduate teaching. 

 

The obstetrics and gynaecology departments of all the medical colleges in Mangaluru, are all set to be inspired by him this weekend for the Continuing Medical Education - CME Evolve, to held at Father Muller Medical College Hospital, here. A stimulating session of post graduate teaching and discussion is anticipated.
