Udupi: Alvas College & Besant Women’s College wins Mangalore Varsity Volleyball Championship

Udupi, 13 Jan 2017: Alvas College, Moodbidri won the Mangalore University volleyball championship trophy in men’s division and Besant Women’s College, Mangaluru won in women’s division. The championship was held at MSRS College, Shirva, on Thursday, January 12.

 

MSRS College bagged the runner up trophy in men’s division, while Poornaprajna College (PPC), Udupi bagged the runner up trophy in women’s division.

 

 

The championship was organized in collaboration with Vijaya Bank and MSRS College alma mater, Mumbai.

 

Melvyn Pinto, Vijaya Bank, Shirva branch manager presented the trophies during the valedictory function held here on Thursday evening.

 

The alma mater president Divakar Shetty was present.
