Mumbai: Tulu/Kannadiga movie director Rajashekar R Kotian gets honorary Doctorate

Mumbai, 26 Dec 2016: Royal Academy of Global Peace, Malaysia awarded honorary doctorate to Rajshekar R Kotian, Tulu – Kannada movie actor and director in Mumbai, and also producer of Tulu religious movie, Brahmashree Narayana Guruswamy. It was awarded in recognition of his social and cultural contributions.

 

 

Rajshekar is the son of Raghavendra and Kalyani Kotian, natives of Santoor, near Mudarangady, Udupi district. He is a multifaceted personality, a dedicated actor, honest and hard worker. He is settled in Mumbai with his wife Harinakshi and son Ranjit. He is also member of core Committee of Billawar Association Mumbai®. 

 

He is the recipient of Karnataka Film Award – 2014 and his movie on Narayana Guru bagged Special Social Concern Movie Award – 2015.
