Puttur: 10-day NCC training camp to begin at St Philomena College on Dec 3

Puttur, 02 Dec 2016: A 10-day combined annual training camp for NCC cadets will be organized by 19 Karnataka Battalion at St Philomena College, here from December 3 to December 12. About 27 NCC officers and 400 cadets from Puttur and Sullia taluks of Dakshina Kannada district and Kodagu district will participate.

 

Training would be imparted to the cadets on various subjects such as drill, March past, weapon use, map reading, compass use, physical fitness, yoga, rifle shooting and certificate examinations.

 

19 Karnataka Battalion Colonel Sanjay Dutta will participate as commanding officer. Colonel Sanjay Apte will participate as administrative officer and NCC Officer of the College Lieutenant Johnson David Sequeira will participate as camp adjutant.
