Mumbai: Wilson Olivera Nite enthrals Konkani music-buffs at Vasai

Mumbai, 10 Nov 2016: Vasai Konkani Welfare Association (VKWA) organized Wilson Olivera Nite, at Nazareth Convent School ground, Vasai (W), here on Monday, October 31.

 

The programme started  with welcome address by president Reginald Santhumayor, followed by welcome dance by VKWA children.

 

Sangeet Sardar Wilson Olivera enthralled Vasai audience with his superb rendition of voice also superb singings by other reputed singers: Ronnie Crasta, Pradeep Pinto, Prashant Pinto, Joseph Mathias, Priya Menezes and Shipa Cutinha.

 

 

Naach Sobhann, dance troupe of Mangaluru-based Maand Sobhann and children presented mesmerising dances. Kushali Kinnigoli, comedy group entertained audience with rib-tickling skits.

 

Ronald Olivera, compere kept the every audience attention alive throughout with his class compering.

 

During interval short stage programme was held. Local corporator Francis Dominic  D’Souza (Apte), Mataro Chorbela Francis Fernandes Cassia, VKWA president Reginald Santhumayor, VKWA advisor Jossie Menezes, Wilson Olivera, Ronald Olivera were felicitated during the stage programme.

 

Wilson Oliviera spoke about 5 shows as well about Mumbai trip experience. Roylie Santhumayor was felicitated as Youth of the Year, for her services rendered to VKWA during last 8 years. 

 

Ivan Rebello won lucky coupon prize. 

 

VKWA secretary John D’Souza was instrumental in organizing this memorable event.
