Udupi: GSB Yuvaka Mandali celebrates Navaratri & Sharada Mahotsav with pomp & gaiety

Udupi, 16 Oct 2016: The GSB Yuvaka Mandali of Sri Laxmi Venkatesh temple, here celebrated Navaratri and Sharada Mahotsav at Kamalanat amphitheater, here on Wednesday, October 12.

 

 

The renowned cardiac surgeon Dr Vasudev Baburaya Pai was the chief guest lauded the efforts of GSB Yuvaka Mandal in helping the community youth to find job opportunities, studies and health needs.  Meanwhile, he called on the beneficiaries to lead a dignified life shunning all ill habits.

 

Dr Praveena Pai and temple trustee P V Shenoy distributed the prizes to the winners of various sports meet, fancy dress competition.

 

Dr Vasudev Baburaya Pai felicitated the C A toppers Preeti Nayak and Sandeep Pai on the same occasion.

 

 

Venkataramana Prabhu read the annual report.  Sandeep Nayak introduced the guests.  Yuvaka Mandala president T Subramanya Pai welcomed the gathering.  Karthik Nayak compered the programme.  Giridar Nayak proposed vote of thanks.

 

Variety cultural events were presented by the group of Bhavana Brahmanand Bhat.
